Like the Ardèche, the Drôme is famous for its canoeing routes, whether sporty ones in winter or spring, or family-friendly versions in summer.
In the summer you can explore the Drôme department on a fun descent accessible to the greatest number of people. The river Drôme is one of the wildest rivers in France.

Pont de Quart - Die

A canoe descent of the Drôme in the form of a sporty, fun and refreshing trip. Especially suitable for people who want to explore a tortuous part of the Drôme by canoe.
Die - Sainte Croix
Canoeing down the Drôme river - Ideal for families
2 hours ~ 8 km
Departure via the slide at the Pont de la Griotte and the rapids at the Pont Rompu. The River Drôme quickly widens out and offers you a magnificent view of the Vercors mountains. Ideal for a family outing or a first river descent by canoe.
Die - Pontaix
The Drôme river descent for tireless people
3 hours to 3 hours 30 mins ~ 11km
Departure via the slide at the Pont de la Griotte and the rapids at the Pont Rompu. The River Drôme quickly widens out and offers you a magnificent view of the Vercors mountains and your descent finishes by meandering through the houses of the village of Pontaix.

Descent with picnic : "Pont de quart - Ste Croix" canoe descent (14 km)

Meet in the morning at 11 o'clock at the leisure hub, distribution and loading of equipment, shuttle by minibus to the Pont de Quart starting point (10 min. from Die). You have until approximately 3.30 p.m. - 4 p.m. to make your descent to Ste Croix, where we pick you up to take you back to the leisure hub. You can have your picnic wherever you want during your descent.

Meet in the morning at the leisure hub for distribution of equipment for canoeing down the Drôme. We then take you by minibus to Pont de Quart, the starting point. After some instructions on using the equipment, we let you take on the rapids of the Drôme. When you have finished, we pick you up and take you back to our picnic and rest area. After a well-deserved break for lunch, you will be able to set off again on our ten adventure courses to end your day.
Equipment to bring:
- Two pairs of trainers (so as not to have wet feet all day)
- Bathing suit, sunscreen and mobile phone for canoeing
- Your picnic
