The Drôme is known for its canoe-kayak descents, whether for winter or spring sports descents or for canoe versions accessible to families in summer.
The latter will allow you to discover the Drôme department on a fun descent and accessible to the greatest number in summer.
The Drôme River is one of the wildest rivers in Europe, no infrastructure has been built its flow is natural.

The descent of Drôme in Canoeing ideal for families
2h00 (2h30 in August) ~ 8 km
Starting with the slide of the bridge of the griotte and the rapids of the broken bridge. The Drôme River widens and offers a magnificent view of the vercor mountains. Ideal for a family outing or a first descent of river canoeing.
Die – Pontaix
(Summer)
Drôme's descent for the tireless
3:00 to 3:30 ~ 11km
Starting with the slide of the bridge of the griotte and the rapids of the broken bridge. The Drôme River expands and offers a magnificent view of the Vercors mountains. You will finish your descent by winding in the middle of the houses of Pontaix villages.
