Rando adventure in Drôme and Vercors
The Rando-Aventure between climbing and via ferrata!
A course mixing Hiking on wild vires, air passage requiring the use of mountaineering technique, crossing, reminders..., in a unique and preserved setting. Activity supervised by a state graduate monitor.
The route follows a vire (road between two areas of cliffs) and includes short passages of easy climbing
You will have to show a collective spirit and concentration in order to reach the sublime panorama that this mountain region offers.
We will observe the high cliffs of Vercors, with panoramic views of the Dome du Glandasse which peaks at 2047 m above sea level.
From 10 years old perfect for a family outing.

Two possibilities, in the morning shade and after noon!
The pillar of Romeyer (in the morning shadow)
A pillar of 70 meters high, accessible by easy climbing or the feet and hands must be used. The suite takes place on a steep but easy path, which leads after a short climbing passage of a few meters to the top of the pillar. A giant step allows you to reach the descent path. Descent in rappelling or zipline Over the river!
The balconies of Valcroissant (in the shade after noon)
After 5 minutes walking, one more route 300 meters crosses the cliff of Valcroissant, on a mountain road. Some climbing passages punctuate this hike or it will be necessary pull out the rope to secure itself. You will pass through 3 balms (overhanging forming a cave), all equally enigmatic, or the traces of animals encourage to be discreet and respectful of the natural environment.
A superb spur overlooking the valley finished this walk accessible to all, from 10 years.
Return can be done in different ways:
– by a via corda ( 25 m aerial recall, aerial handrail and trail return ), by the path accessed by 3 to 4 recalls descents (aircraft) 25 m
Equipment: a pair of sneakers, sunscreen, and a small bag and water for your group
For the seasoned: go down by the 100 m of descent as a reminder
For small groups wishing to continue this adventurous route, we propose to make a descent of the 100 m of cliffs in 3 reminders.
Prior experience in recall technique is required! (either in canyon or climbing, in case of doubt, plan to make an escalation session or a canyon descent in Rio deaf to be introduced to the techniques of descent in reminder).
