Located on the unbeatable tourist site of the rocky chaos of the Claps, this via ferrata offers an ascent from the mid-air to the air.
This via is composed by alternating horizontal or oblique climbs and vires with an escapeway in the middle of the journey.
Ideal for a first family experience of via ferrata practice.

Via Ferrata de Chironne: sports trip in Vercors
1/2 day
It is a via accessible but a bit sporty:
Large slanting climb on the right with gas, overhangs and spills long and aerial in the 2nd part. Escape after the first stretch.
Nevertheless, accompanied by a guide, this via is feasible by the greatest number.
One of the beautiful via ferrata all in a mineral setting of all beauty.

Via Corda « The Virgin of the Vercors »
The step of the scale
Parking recommended 400 m upstream of the Pas de l'Echelle. Access 1: at the edge of the department at the level of the bridge by a succession of scales and beams in corbellation. Access 2: by a 40 m zipline with Petzl speed pulley + short loin. The route then takes place through a succession of narrow vires and steep walls, the whole is rather aerial but rarely athletic. An escape, before a vertical descent, gives access to a feeling that goes back to the return trail.
The Berche
Recommended parking at the entrance to the hamlet of La Jarjatte (400 m from via ferrata). The via ferrata is characterized by 3 very distinct sections. – It begins with a pillar on the far right of the Berch climbing school. At a progressive level, the route follows the ridge with athletic passages that can be avoided by variants. – The second part is joined by a short path and evolves on steep spurs and slabs. – Finally, you take a road leading to the forest road (follow it on the left for 500 meters). Then you take the trail to the left to access the tower bridge and you reach the top. A short steep descent leads to the return trail.
